Whether you are new to the Penn research community or looking for a refresher on training, you can follow these simple steps to learn all you need to know about how the Office of Research Services can support your sponsored project.

Step One

Get Started with Essential Training

Sponsored Projects at Penn (SP@P) Training

Sponsored Projects at Penn (SP@P) is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the basic knowledge required to effectively prepare proposals for submission to external sponsors and to monitor and manage grant funds at Penn throughout the life cycle of an award.

Initial certification will be granted following completion of the core curriculum and one day of in-person training. To maintain currency of certification, annual completion of an additional four hours of elective training is required.

You can register for the entire curriculum or individual topics in Workday Learning.
